Engine Room Technician
The incumbent in this position is responsible for operating and maintaining the vessel's machinery and related systems ensuring proper operation according to safety standards; and performs engine room watch and emergency duties.
Job Requirements:
Experience in repair and maintenance of vessel mechanical systems.
Ability to work independently and complete projects and solve problems with limited supervision.
These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of high school or a trade school and two years mechanical background with electricity, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
